An Unexpected Day!

Don’t I look good? Miss Penny speaking, a day at the spa, that’s what Susan calls it, more like a day in the torture chamber. Susan says I’m being dramatic. Maybe I am, but it was a challenging day. First there was a car ride to Rose’s, and get this… when I arrived Preston the big lab who belongs to Frank’s family in Stittsville, was sucking up to Pierre. What’s he doing here? I asked. His family have gone away to Italy. I feel sorry that they have abandoned him but he’s nuzzling in on my territory and I can tell Pierre’s affections are divided. I’m the princess here and I need more than half. I guess I can share for a while. Susan went off with Rose and when they got back, they then took me to the groomers. The nice thing about Pet Agree in Kanata is all the other dogs and look at me I am beautiful. By the time we got home I was exhausted. I’ve no idea what Susan is doing in the writing world, I’m too tired to care today. I think she’s working on a new title and new cover for the second edition of Save Some for Me.
