Miss Penny Speaking!

That’s me! I’m guessing Susan couldn’t think of a good title today. She has been busy this last week. We have been searching for the right image for the cover of the 2nd edition of Save

Some For Me – A Memoir. (In case your wondering, she decided not to change the title) I felt like a bobblehead doll, as I watched Susan scrolled through thousands of photo images, they all looked good to me but the one she picked is truly amazing. (Here have a quick look.) Then it took days to get the right blurb for the cover, in case you’re not sure what a blurb is, it’s the description on the back cover and then there are reviews and a bio to add. Psst! I got a little tired of listening as they all sounded the same, just a word changed here and there. The changes made a difference to Susan I could tell be her smile. I got bored and buried my bone. I didn’t do a good job I just couldn’t get the blanket to cover it. I gave up and ate it. Quite tasty those milk bones, you should try one sometime?

Susan’s a bit nervous, she’s speaking at the Winchester Memorial Hospital Fund raiser on September 15. As if it isn’t enough to listen to the blurb, I now have to listen to a very long passage from The Blue Pendant, she’s reading at the fundraiser. I’ll be able to recite it with her. Actually, I was invited but I piddle when I get excited, most of the time I’m good and don’t have accidents but when I’m scared or excited, I can’t help myself. Anyway, Susan said I can’t go until I learn not to piddle.

A whole load of books arrived yesterday ready for Winchester and the Ottawa Book Expo in October. It sure will be an interesting fall.
