Funny Feeling in my Tummy!

I have a funny feeling in my tummy that something big is going on. Miss Penny speaking. The dinning table is piled with books, banners, brochures, postcards, signs and even shortbread. What does shortbread have to do with writing? There has been a lot of talk about Ottawa Book Expo (see details below) and that feeling in my tummy tells me we are getting close and I’m not included. I was right Nancy is coming to look after me, now I like Nancy so that’s not so bad, but I can still look forlorn and make Susan feel bad. Chuckle! And, Susan says, the shortbread is going as samples to promote Christmas at Lavender Cottage because the recipe is in that book and once you taste Susan’s shortbread you must get the recipe. And you get the bonus of a special warm, enchanting romantic Christmas story of family and friends with a dose of mystery, suspense and, of course, a happy ending. Check out the videos on my Facebook page

Here are the details: Sunday Oct 20th 10 am – 5 pm (that’s tomorrow) Ottawa Book Expo Lansdowne Park Horticultural Building Booth # 8 Susan will be on stage at 11:15 taking about The story behind the story followed by a reading. See you there! Well, no actually dogs aren’t allowed, that’s bummer maybe I’ll sulk.

Susan’s contemporary romance series has a new look and new series name – The Lavender Cottage Series (aka The Narrowboat Romance Series)

Save Some For Me  – And what about you?

Could you survive an abusive man and raise five children alone?

This was a brave, insightful, revealing, and well written book of what must be one of the hardest experiences any person can go through. The courage and grace with which you tell this story is a truly affective reading experience…….  Judge’s commentary: Writer’s Digest
