Pug Cousins!

I have Pug cousins, Miss Penny speaking. Before I start my horrendous story Susan says I have to make an author announcement today. Just another nail in my coffin, it’s been a bad week.

The long awaited book release Tuesday, June 29th Heart of Sophie’s War both ebook and paperback will be released on Amazon Check it out? See below for more details. Also Prelude to Sophie’s War is on sale this week.

Traumatized, hurt and damaged forever! Dramatic? Perhaps, but I am the princess. Her are the details. We went to visit  Frank (Susan’s son) and family and these two chubby little dogs, Lily and Lila ran to greet us. To say I was surprised is an under statement, there used to be a Labrador living there, I don’t know where he went, he was big and terrifying and these two little Pugs were doubly terrifying. They ran all over the place, barking and jumping, they moved so fast I had trouble following them. Attention grabbers, they certainly didn’t seem to know who was the princess. Psst! I didn’t like them much and when they jumped all over Susan I had to flex my muscles and do my job as protector, not as

Growling Penny

author assistant. I needed to protect Susan. So, wait for it … I growled, I’ve never growled before, it felt quite good,  grrrrr… and then I snapped. A warning not to hurt Susan or me. Was my act of protection appreciated? NO! I got into trouble. Susan was mad with me and shouted at me and then insulted me by petting the pugs. I kid you not she liked them and gave them love. Can you believe that? I am traumatized. Do I get petted? No! And it gets worse, I am put in a pen; me the princess! I couldn’t believe Susan would do that

Penned, Panting Penny! Can you believe that?

to me. Lily and Lila are running around the outside of the pen. I did have a sniff and I guess they weren’t that bad but on Susan’s knee I kept up the vigil of growling, just in case. I did my best and got into a lot of trouble. I am very confused. All for today don’t forget Tuesday June 29th releasing  Heart of Sophie’s War Get your copy.
