Neurotic! Me, Princess Penny? I kid you not! Susan called me neurotic last night. I could say the same of Susan, since the Facebook fiasco, she been a bit off.
She’s switching to Susan’s News, here’s the link to sign up. It’s a bit disconcerting. What about me and my blog? I signed up anyway. If you remember last week I was perplexed, and its gotten worse. Change! Yep, this Covid thing is going away. I know, a good thing for humans but not for the four legged. Susan is going out again. I’ve been locked in the office twice this week, the elevator is full of strange people, (full meaning two people) but I get nervous. It’s the face masks, I can’t tell if people are friendly. Trembling is necessary. I’ve been
in the car twice this week, I hate the car. Psst! Don’t tell Susan but I am convinced there are monsters in the hall way. I have exceptional hearing and I hear them, knocking on doors and loud voices. I sniff at our door, watch and listen. Susan is oblivious to this and I’m trembling. Eventually the noise stops but I stay on guard. It gets worse at night, two nights in a row, I’ve been scared. Here’s what happened. We were in bed, Susan was reading, which puts me on ignore, so I settled on my pillow. And, then I heard strange noises above our heads, I’m scared, so I crawled onto Susan’s chest and put my head under her chin, I’ll be
safe here. I had to nose the book out of the way, Susan wasn’t too pleased, but as soon as I started to tremble she soothed me. Psst! The trembling thing always works, except that’s when she used the word neurotic, now I’m perplexed again. I hope I’m not out of a job, it seems there’s no evil eye today, as the writing updates will be in Susan’s News tomorrow, featuring a free e-book, articles about protagonists; Sophie from Sophie’s War series and Katie is back from the Lavender cottage books.
