I love my pink baby, Miss Penny speaking. I have no idea why it is called a baby. I’m guessing Susan gave it that name. Picture one is getting ready for bed, it always comes to bed with us and Susan teases me and hides it under the covers. She gets quite snippy if I put it on her pillow, while she gets ready for bed. I get this look, it’s supposed to chastise, I don’t pay attention. Then, she picks it up with her fingers, as though it’s going to bite or something and throws my poor baby on my pillow (yes, I
have my own pillow) and says it’s dirty and smelly. It’s not smelly. It has a well-chewed aroma. There have been comments about it being washed. Now that will upset me, I might have to chew a shoe or throw-up on the bed if she does that. Oh, and you may notice my flowing coat or overflowing coat, we haven’t been to the groomers yet.
Not much going on here, we’re still isolated and this corona thing is still hovering over us. Susan had to cancel her trip to the UK for her Mum’s 100th. I know she’s sad, but psst! I’m not because I miss her when she’s gone. As far as writing is concerned nothing new, Susan is in the thinking phase. That means she has lots of ideas percolating in her head. She’s still writing the romance, but I have a feeling something big is coming. Well folks, humans and canines, that’s it for this week. Happy reading and if you have a minute, go check out the new cover for The Blue Pendant, Susan says more changes are coming.
