Well, it’s not the boots and coats that are spinning, I was doing the spinning, Miss Penny speaking.
I’ll come back to that in a minute as I want to say, ‘I told you so’ to Susan. She moved my blog to her newsletter I told her it wouldn’t work and one of my fans complained so back to Facebook with my apologies. I had a little chat with Susan and she mended her ways. If you get Susan’s Reader’s News the link is there too.
Spinning, I love to spin in circles when I am happy, usually in the hall when I greet visitors, it’s such fun I go round and round right under their feet. I love visitors and we’ve had a lot lately.
What I don’t love is wearing boots and coats.
Susan bought me a new red coat and new pink boots. Psst! I think she had a senior moment because they don’t match, actually, pink against red, they clash, definitely not a fashion statement and embarrassing as I trot down the road.
Why do I wear them?
I won’t admit this to Susan but I am skinny, although I prefer to use the word slender, and I get cold so the coat keeps me warm. The boots are annoying they flap around my paws, but the snow is cold and even worse the salt stings my paws. Yep, as much as I hate them the boots take the pain away. Hee-hee! It’s fun teasing Susan I run away and hide and when she catches me and puts me on the chair, I curl my paws so she can’t get the boots on.
We had the big book launch last week and now that’s over I’m taking a break until after Christmas then we have lots of writing and book news. If you missed out on buying the new book, here’s the link.
