Socks, glorious socks! Miss Penny speaking. I love socks; they smell good, they stretch, they are the perfect shakers and one of my favourite toys. I’m surprised Susan wears them on her feet, you can’t tousle them there and I’ve never seen her walking around with a sock in her mouth. She doesn’t know what she’s missing. Speaking of feet, the most exciting time is at night when Susan’s take off her socks. I watch like a hawk as she pulls the sock over her toes, and then I wait. Just at the right time I pounce and pull it right off her foot, being careful not to pinch Susan’s toes, and… now this is the best part, Susan has two feet, which means two socks, so I get to do it all over again. Just think, if Susan had four feet like me, I could do this four times. I’m not sure a little dog could take that much excitement. But we need excitement today, there’s a terrible virus attacking people and making them sick. Susan stays home, except for my walks. All public events have been cancelled including the book launch at Coles. Here’s Susan…
