Stop yanking my leash!

when we were walking yesterday and just about choked me. I guess you have to be a canine to understand the sniffing ritual. It is a delicate procedure, sniffing the plants not too close, it can be strong; I’m not sure what some of these dogs eat but they need to lay off the cheap treats, very pungent, I need to move on. If it’s a pleasant scent it requires extensive sniffing and that takes time. This is where I get yanked and choked, not the kind of treatment for Princess Penny, and honestly the whining about the heat and, the latest, the little bugs flying around her head. I can’t see them and they don’t bother me. Susan says the little bugs are annoying, flying in her face landing on her glasses and eyes. Hee-hee, she looks

ridiculous as she flaps her hadn’t around her head, doing a sort of jig. That’s when my leash gets yanked and she yells, ‘Penny move!’. So here’s the problem, I want time to sniff and Susan wants to keep moving. Susan’s a pretty understanding person but this, she does not get. I have to find the right place to pee and I like to know who’s been there before me, which requires lots of sniffing. And, get this, if I don’t pee she gets mad with me. I’ll be glad when this heat goes! Oh, writing news? Lavender Cottage – Book 4 is almost finished. The order for Sophie’s War has arrived.
